The passenger nobile application in particular offers real time information on bus routes as well as advice on alternative routes. The application was available in Greek only. Unfortunately the application version is not compatible with the updated Android systems.

Although the presentation offers merely an overview linked to the city of Florence in specific, the contents can be used as a case study example on approaching sustainable mobility. An example of a net zero city, how to transform your city to smart, green and inclusive.
CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions from transport
Description: The resourse presents a learning activity for school education, inviting the students to research on CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions from transport, and link this knowledge to their own mobility practices by monitoring the CO2 produced by different means of transport they use for travelling to and from school. Although most of the recommended resources presented through QR codes are outdated, they can easily be substituted by current updated resources on the same topics. Moreover, the value of the learning activity is mainly in helping the students discover their own role as citizens, realise their impact in the real world, and explore applicable solutions in their specific context. Ways to help students find available info on carbon dioxide production using different modes of transport and consider ways to reduce production to achieve higher air quality.

Description: The website, available in Italian but with available automatic translation to all EU languages, describes a learning activity for schools on the theme of sustainable urban mobility. The information and resources included (e.g. videos) can be used as an introduction to the concept of sustainable urban mobility in Europe, linking it to current EU policies like the European Green Deal and recent experiences like the corona pandemic's positive impact on reducing NO2 emissions. Unfortunately, the supporting downloadable worksheets are in Italian only.
